I’m the proud new owner of a drool-worthy blurb for EIGHTH GRADE BITES! Christopher Moore (author of Bloodsucking Fiends and several other incredible books) was sweet enough to read Vlad’s tale while on tour for A Dirty Job and had this to say:
“Eighth Grade Bites is a terrific vampire tale told with a sharp, middle-school grin. It definitely does not bite!”
He rules. And I bow before his greatness.

You are the queen of the blurbs.
Congrats on your latest aquisition.
I’m dying just waiting for this to come out so I can read it. Please have your pulisher hurry up the process for me.
Yeah, hurry the publisher up already!
Two of my nephews are in eighth grade this year, followed by two more by the time the book is published. I’m poised and ready to contribute to your royalty check anytime now.
XO,
Christopher
Okay, you impatient minions.
There’s only so much I can do to ensure my book will be in your greedy little hands ASAP. And I’m doing it (“it” pretty much encompasses sitting, waiting, and doing as I’m told).
But Summer 2007 (unless something changes), my Vlasd will be yours.
HUZZAH!!!
And I’ll be buying at least five copies of the hardcover, sweetie — one for each of my sons (who won’t be old enough to read them for a few years…I figure the value will appreciate, especially with an autograph…), one for my godsons, one for my good friend’s son, and one for me.
You rule. And I bow before your greatness.
Christopher
Count me in for copies! Signed of course. I’ll buy them here, then ship them there (do I sound like Dr. Suess?)
I may have to keep one copy behind to read so I don’t have to wait.
xx
The Faery Lady
How ROCK do you people?! I’m truly humbled and awed. *kish kish*
