When I was a little kid, me and my siblings and cousins would play Freeze Tag in my grandma’s front yard. It was awesome. We played TV Tag too…but sometimes I wonder if we just made that one up. (There was also Cartoon Tag…yeah, we were waaaay creative)
Today I’m not freezing or shouting out cartoon characters (you know, not until 3:30 or so), But I have been tagged by Erica Orloff, fabulous writer, amazing woman, total goddess. You know…Erica. 
She’s tagged me to write five interesting or unique things about me. So, here we go…
1. I have a deep and lingering fear of The Thing In The Closet. I can’t sleep if the closet door is open, and I sure as heck can’t get up in the dark to close it. What are you, NUTS?! It’s already seen me! IT KNOWS I’M COMING!!
2. I am the perkiest of the perky goths. Though I spend my fair share of time moping, for the most part I’m an intensely happy person (especially when I’m writing something really gross or scary). Remember, kill them with a smile!
3. I can’t swim. Nope. Not even to save my life.
4. I have two tattoos. A rose on my left calve and a dagger with a rose on my right. Both mean a lot to me. More will come!
5. I hate clowns. They scare the pee right out of me. Any clowns. Circus, Halloween costumes, birthday…all clowns. Hate ‘em. They creep me out.

P.S. Totally can’t sleep with an open closet and the entrance tot he attic is in mine. Jason, my honey, has to close it for me. It can’t even be cracked.
Rach, that’s even worse! Bigger Things can hide in attics. And yeah, if the door is even cracked a little, I end up staring at it and getting seriously freaked out until I wake Paul and make him close it for me.

We play TV tag in the swimming pool–I think. We never had a name for it though. Now we do!
And Yay! I was just wondering what to blog about today.
Snaps to you for admitting your fears! I can’t stand clowns either. I found a fridge magnet that says “Can’t sleep, clowns will eat me” with a demented happy clown on it. That just about sums it up. I’m afraid of the dark, but not the closet.

Sophzilla, my brother used to have that shirt! Totally love it. Clowns are SCARY.
I am the designated closet closer/light in the other room turner offer/door closer/go find out what that noise is investigator. I fear nothing. NOTHING!! Well, except those big poodles, the 3 foot tall ones, they freak me out. But other than that, NOTHING!!
I can’t swim, either! And now I think I’m too traumatized to learn.
Eryc, those poodles are freaky!! And if their owners dress them as clowns…we’re so screwed.

i think that i have to agree with #1 i never liked the door of the closet open at night and when i was younger i screamed for someone cause i always (and still do)imagine hands grabbing my feeet when i got out of bed
