AHAHAHAHAHAHA–I kill me!! *cough* Um…okay…only my loyalest of Minions, the ones that have already read EIGHTH GRADE BITES will get why that’s funny. But still…MARK! Ha!
Anyhoo, back to more Vlad news. Vlad and I are happy to announce that the second book in the Chronicles of Vladimir Tod series (NINTH GRADE SLAYS) is set to be hitting shelves a bit earlier than we thought. The technical “On shelf” date (meaning stores should have it on their shelves by this date) is July 3, 2008! Wooohooo!!! Over a month earlier than anticipated!!! But, it gets better, because my editor said that depending on the stores, you guys could start seeing V2 (Vlad two…ha! I’m funny AND cool!) as soon as mid-June! So…get ready, Minions…cuz this one really takes it up a notch. There’s a lot more action, Vlad learns a lot more about the vampire world (and about himself), and of course, humor abounds–all wrapped up in a tasty tortilla of travel (and no, he’s not going to Mexico–anybody have a guess where he’s going?). Plus, it’s a good chunk longer (for all you Minions who wanted EGB to last longer). So get ready!
Also, don’t forget, if you want to win a hoodie, send me (by email or just post here) your creative version of my bio–the hoodie goes to the best one on my birthday: Friday, September 21st! And watch this space all through October…as I have something BIG planned…

It’s on the calendar, sitting between Michelle Maddox’s COUNTDOWN and Eve Kenin’s HIDDEN.
Thanks for sharing the news, and have a lovely day!
YAY! It’s coming out sooner! I need to start saving up my money to buy it….lol. ^^
Heather Brewer is one hundred and sixty-two years young, and writes books about her adopted brother Vladimir Tod, the most current book being Eight Grade Bites. Which very closely chronicles Vladimir Tod’s live in the eight grade.
Heather was not your typical child when growing up she had always felt the need to become a vampire, in which she was by none other Count Dracula when she was the ripe old age if 19. Heather has started her own group of Vampires naming them simply ‘Minions’—these Minions are asked to wear special Minion buttons that are given at the first bite.
She writes Valdimir’s stories from what he tells her, she does this when she is wearing her black Happy Bunny pajama bottoms. You can find her dancing under a fool moon with her minions, putting her mark on every book in sight as well as attending renaissance faires looking for new minions.
Heather loves to receive email from her Minions which she LOVES to receive.
I always hate waiting for the next book in a series to come out, so it’s good to hear about Vlad’s next adventure.
I’m always terribly impatient waiting for the next book too, Lynn. It’s odd to be on the other side of the waiting.

I can’t wait!!! It’s already killing me waiting to read more Vlad!! *twich* Must have more!
