Minions, do you know Sherrie? Sherrie is also a Minion, and a librarian, and one of my favorite people in the world. She’s also the bringer of excellent news, as she let me know that the American Library Association finished counting up their votes and EIGHTH GRADE BITES made the final cut for the “Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers” list. Yeppers, Minion Horde…Vlad won!
This calls for a glass of AB Negative.

WOOHOO! Celebrating time!!! *goes into little victory dance*
Also, I gotta go with Vlad. I’ll take a glass of O positive.

Awesome! Congrats Heather! ALA sounds really familiar, I used to work in the Jr. High library so they always were telling me about stuff like this. That’s how I found Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. They read to me part of the review for it and then I read it and now I love vampires like the Cullens and Vladimir.
Oh yes mom thinks I’m O positive. =D Valdimir’s favorite, right?
Vlad adores O Positive
Of course, I chose AB Negative because it’s “the champagne of blood types”.

Check ut that list, Minions! LOTS of really great books that we must devour together…even some yummy vamp books!
^^ then I’ll have to make sure that’s in part of the short story. I so want to get to writing it already! Finals are next week though so it’s slowed down everything I’ve wanted to do.
As soon as I can I’ll try and find that list!
Allow me! http://www.ala.org/ala/yalsa/booklistsawards/quickpicks/08qp.cfm
Congratulations, Heather! You’re awesome! :*)
