After much urging by my wonderful Minions, I’ve decided to create a codex of the Elysian Code. Don’t thank me yet–I still have to actually do it and that will take time. And to be honest, I kinda overlooked the possibility that you Minions would want to use Elysian Code too. But I’m really excited about being able to share the vampire language with all of you.
So far, the feedback I’ve received on NINTH GRADE SLAYS is all good. Everyone seems to like NGS, and no one seems to have expected the big twist (which makes me happy, as I worried that it was too obvious). Everyone seems very happy about the bits of romance that blossom more fully in this book, and Vlad’s developing vampire skills. Everyone also seems to have taken a shine to Henry’s cousin, Joss, which pleases me to no end. So…me=happy that you=happy. Hang in there! This series has just begun. A reminder: please don’t reveal any big secrets in the comments, as we want everyone to enjoy the books with a fresh perspective. But feel free to discuss–and if you can’t do that without revealing a secret, please post **SPOILER WARNING** before you spill a secret. Thanks!

I loved Ninth Grade Slays! For one now Vlad is in my grade which makes me very very happy.
2. I did NOT see the twist at all, I just couldn’t believe it!
3. If anything like that happened to Vlad while I was around I swear I wouldn’t have left his side until they forced me (I’m so weird like that)
I can’t wait to see this codex and really hope that when it’s made I’ll be able to remember it, along with Spanish, and Spirtian (my friend made this up, it’s pretty awesome).
And big news~ I got my hoodie and T-shirt!!! I was so excited I had to fight Sawyer to get them XD. So hopefully you’ll see some more fan art from me to celebrate!

The Vlad series is AMAZING! Duh! Lol. I like it because it’s definately different from other vampire books, and there are fresh ideas that add an extra spice to the bloodwine. (btw, LOOOVVVE the cartoon!) Vlad’s new abilities are amazing, and really made me jealous. Lol. Aww, poor Joss! *huggles Joss* I love Vikas. He makes me happy. Noel, you are my new favorite person–NO ONE has so much as mentioned Vikas to me, and I love him dearly. It was hard to make Vlad leave Vikas behind, but I was so happy that he saw Vikas again by the end.

I haven’t read NGS yet (I am waiting until I get into ninth grade ^_^) but my teacher likes it a lot! I really can’t wait to read it!

NGS was really good! i could kind of see the twist, like i knew something like that would happen. but i wanted more of Joss. i dodn’t want him to go so early.
i love Vikas! he was a great character to be in the book. i can’t wait for more of him.

i am soo happpyyy!!!!!!!!!! i finally got the book yesterday!!!! i have started to read it and so far i love every minute of it!!! (especially the scene with Bill and Tom.) that was cool. well i gotta get back to the book bye!

Yay, I feel special! Vikas is my new favorite character as of NGS. I seriously wanted to attack him with hugs. Lol. Aww, I feel left out! I’m already IN tenth grade! Ooohhh, I could get held back to be with Vlad! Lol, my parents would kill me. :’[ Yay for the goth kids! They sound amazing.
I am so in love with NGS!! As soon as i got the book from my aunt for Christmas I haven’t put it down since!!! I can’t wait to read the next book! Iv’e even turn my friends on to Vladimir and I’m writing my own story’s about him. I’m also very curious…what’s the next book going to be called?

I saw the twist coming at page 87, but I think I’m a little older than the target audience (I’m 19), so that’s okay (I also read alot, so I kind of can tell where things are going now >_< ).
Also, Meredith is a nice girl and all but, it gets really tiring to keep hearing hoe great she is from Vlad’s POV. Maybe in the next book you could tone Vlad’s mushy feelings down just a little. I had to start skipping whenever he got mushy :/
Other than that, great book! This is one of the few book series that is currently running that I just have to buy and can call a favorite ^_^

Hey Heather, Jordan here, I love your books, and I must agree, Vikas is extreamly dear to me too, and I love that Vlad finally has some real family with Otis. I must say that you had me with tears in my eyes when I read that part when Joss stabbed Vlad with that steak. And I felt sorry for Vlad when he told the counsel what happened to his parents and i started balling
But when Vlad met Snow I thought that he was going to do what he did. 
I loved Vikas in this book. Later on, not so much. You know why. Still, amazing book! I wish you would write one past 12th Grade Kills. It’s one of those series that is so good it can keep going and never become boring! My nickname is Bree (short for Breelana said Bree-lawn-a) and I want to know what my mark would be for my nickname please!!

well i love all the series as much as i can and it was very unexpected for vikas and tomas tod to well … u know in the 12th grade kills.
And i also got sad about Nelly.
But i love the series and please could you write another book like storkerton university dies or something.

i’ve only made it up to the third book,but one of my friends has the forth and is going to let me borrow it if she remembers. i’m soo happy and i can’t wait.

i just started reading the books i started at ninth grade slays but tried to go bac to 8th grade bites but after all i read in ninth grade slays i just moved up to tenth grade bleeds vlad is awesome i really lyk his character the only downfall is tht he cries alot but who doesnt lyk a sensitive guy
but i cant wait to get the next book if they have one
