Have you all started winter break yet? Or as I often liked to refer to it, sanity break? If not, hang in there – soon you’ll be staying up late and sleeping in, sipping hot cocoa and ripping paper off of gifts! Auntie Heather will be (as usual) working through the holidays, but don’t worry…she’ll make sure to stop writing long enough to celebrate with her family.
As you might have noticed, Auntie Heather has been rather quiet lately. Well, that’s because I have a lot going on right now. I’m busy, busy, busy with work, work, work. I’m writing ELEVENTH GRADE BURNS, tweaking the Super Secret Project, reading a fabulous manuscript with an eye towards blurbing it (oh yeah, so giving this a blurb – I’m addicted), and tweaking this short story for an anthology that’ll benefit RIF (comes out Fall 2010). Most of which is due in January…which has Auntie Heather a little crazy, but happy. Being incredibly busy is far better than having too much time on my hands.
I’ve received several requests for various items that can be used as holiday gifts: Minion Bling, autographs, ARCs, books, hoodies. And while I absolutely sympathize that you Minions know someone who ONLY wants whatever item you asked me for, the fact is that Auntie Heather can’t fill every wish. Right now my schedule is so intensely tight that I just can’t make any extra trips to the post office to ship things. Not to mention that if I fulfill one wish, I have to fulfill them all…and I can’t hand out hoodies and ARCs to everyone…though I wish I could. I’m currently waiting on another order of Bling and that won’t get here until after the holidays…and won’t get shipped out to you Minions until after winter break. So bear with me, Minions. Auntie Heather feels enormously guilty for not helping you all with your holiday wishes, but…she is Auntie Heather, not Santa Heather, after all. (Though she really, really wishes she were!)

Really? ‘Cause thats all I use is the super strength shampoo. And they are called tripp pants cause trip is a brand. They make trench coats and pants and anything with chians and studs along with the colors black+white/red/dark green/dark purple.
Tripp is an awesome brand.

Does anyone here like ManicPanic.com? Or the store? I’ve never been to the store, only the site. I’m still trying to talk my mom into letting me dye my hair. I’m probably going to use some of the money I got for Christmas to buy some hair dye -If thy mom says soo- or if she bounces for it, i want to draw a little design i want my bangs to look like and see if i can get them cut that way because i cut my bangs, trying to be simple, they r all uneven and nasty looking….

My sister has a CD by him(Papa Roach). Is Manic Panic a hair dye? Or… a fansite for the fictional hedgehog (if not the real one is pretty close to that)? Or something else entirely?

No its all round, they have buncha places, you can go to the website and see its ManicPanic.com
Manic Panic does fade really quickly, but if you leave it in for more than the instructions say (they say 15-30 minutes, but you can leave it for quite a while longer and I promise you won’t die xD) it’ll last somewhat longer. Or you can use a hairdryer while it’s setting, to make it stronger. Also they have a version called ‘amplified’ which lasts for a pretty long time. I’m still trying to find Special Effects in my area, so I’m stuck with Manic Panic for now ^^
Also, for the record, Tripp is my favorite clothing company (and their pants actually FIT me without having to be taken in! I’m too short and tiny xD) and Papa Roach is one of my favorite bands ;D
I used to use Manic Panic, left it on for three hours (it’s a veggie dye, so it won’t hurt your hair), but I got tired of turning my pillowcases colors and having it fade so quickly. Since I switched to Special Effects, my pillow cases are fine and my color is bright for a good long time.
I seen the blood red by Special Effects, and it reallyy looks like blood! Ahahaha! i can’t do my hair completely black, and i’m worried if i dye my hair to often it’ll get messed up (i heard you can ruin your hair from dying it too often) and stuff, but i’ll have to wait till im a teenager before i can dye my hair perminant black, but what i wantt to do is layer my hair with black and put a lot in it, my mom might go for that, and it’ll still be a lil brown and also put in the blood red…
I almost forgot…..my mom is considering the TGB Party for a birthday present!!!! and like she actually is,,, but it is a big thing to think about cause you in MO and we’re in NY and there like…a half way across the country from each other lol.

Hm, I thought so. Well, if Manic Panic didn’t wear onto pillowcases I would probably be allowed to use it. But I don’t think my mom would go for black blotched pillowcases.

The black I use is L’Oreal and that doesn’t hurt my pillow cases at all, RJ. Might wanna give it a try!

RJ, ooooh, okay. Stay away from any so-called “temporary” black dyes. Even they won’t wash completely out.
