HOLY BLOODBAG, BATMAN!!! Your Auntie Heather has been freaky crazy with the appearances lately! After an amazing evening the other night at Main Street Books in Saint Charles, MO (with some equally amazing teachers, librarians, and authors), yesterday I was a special guest at a Book Battle (which, fyi, is when a bunch of students from 33 different schools in the Saint Louis area get together and compete with book trivia) and met (and re-met) some fangtastic Minions. And today I’m leaving for the Kansas City area for two middle school visits tomorrow (along with a special lunch with some reading competition winners). I’m exhausted! But also having a blast, so don’t cry for me, Argentina.

Anyhoo, that’s why the blog is sooooooooo quiet, and also why I haven’t been on the forum. Life will shortly return to normal (or what passes for normal around here, anyway). Promise.

Yay, first comment! You sure sound busy. Good luck with all that.

And make your way down to Louisiana sometime, I would say around Halloween, too. New Orleans is famous for it’s awesome haunted houses.
