So. News.
It is not a movie deal, so let’s just all get that out of our heads for the moment (but keep your fingers crossed!). This news is hugely huge, though, and requires a bit of backstory.
For so long, my loyal Minions, you’ve asked that fateful question, “Will there be more Vlad books?” and for so long, Auntie Heather has answered you directly and honestly. No. There will be five books about Vlad. No more. His story will end with TWELFTH GRADE KILLS.
But there is another story, about another boy, that demands to be told. And my publisher, Dutton, is making that possible.
I’m proud/ecstatic/thrilled out of my ever-lovin’ mind to announce a new series that will debut in September 2011, a five-book spin-off series inspired by one of my fave characters from The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod. Ladies and Gents, loyal Minions, fiendish fiends, I give you….The Slayer Journals, an entire series exploring the life and times of Joss McMillan!!! I’m just so, so happy that I’ll get to tell Joss’s story, Minions. And I hope that you’re happy that you’ll get to read it.

Now I don’t feel so sad about the Vladimir Tod books ending, because now I have a new series to look forward too! & I’m also excited about the slayer kit, even though I have almost no chance of winning.

Even though some might say I am a bit old to be reading young adult books, I don’t care. I love your Vlad series and can’t wait for more. In Ten Grade Bleeds I was suddenly suprise to know Vlad and I share the same B-day,1121. Awesome! Then from there comes the slayer series with Joss, unbelieveable, I can’t wait.

Vlad is ending in two books
That makes me very sad.In the next Vlad book I thoughyt Joss was going to come back.But I didn’t think he would have his oun series.I have to read them!I read Tenth Grade Bleeds in 2 days.I would have read it faster but my mom didnt let me stay up so late.I hope they are long.I know they will be good because all of your books are…

ever since i started reading the vladimir tod books,i kinda thought it would be cool to be a vampire,yet it would be hard to think you liked human blood
yet it might be fun 
joss was always one of my favorite characters in the chronicles of vladimir tod,even ifhe tried to kill vlad it was his job,and slayers dont think twice about killing vampires,but joss did and i think thats pretty cool

heather there has to be another vladimir book there just hss to be 0or at least a book about snow i mean why else end with her eyes turning irredescent green:?: i mean what else can i read i have read most of the books out there that are any good it will be a shame to cut the series short of finished i mean there are so many un answered questions i mean it would ruin the end if there wasnt another even if your not in it for the money i guarentee that you make tons of it i feel that you could get at least push out three or for more books at leaast 4 more books the first two explain the thing about snow the other two or three could be done interdusing werewolves maybe lycans or some other mythological creature
