And I’ll get to that in a second. But first…there is happy news in HeatherLand, my Minions. The clouds have parted and these feathery guys started singing and my stress level is way, way down. My fangtastic editor has granted me a stay of execution – that is, she gave me more time to finish writing TWELFTH GRADE KILLS! YAY! So, now I have until December 1st and I’m really happy about it. Of course, I’m still going to be hard at work and missing from the forums for a bit, BUT…at least I’ll have time to really get this book where it needs to be.

responding to Vladimir Tod sinks his fangs , that movie was really good, although they did stray from the book a lot. And of course Auntie Heather will get a movie deal. How could she not? Because Vladimir Tod is the best vampire book out there right now. just give it time.

It’s monday already? Wow….time flies.
I finally got finished with Peeps by Scott Westerfeld. I got into to it after a link of yours led me to the book. I had to turn that in today. I was happy to see that with the help of my big mouth i was able to persuade the public library to buy a couple of copies of the CoVT series. It’s always awesome to find a good read like Vlad. A book that books you in the storyboard almost. I need to find a new book to lose myself in.
So i throw out the statement, need something new to read, Auntie.
Just bought your first two books at our school book fair and ordered the third from amazon. Wish I’d known about the teen book festival in Austin last weekend. I’d have filled my car with my paranormal loving co-workers and made a road trip!

I am an 8th Grade teacher and I have been using your books to get the students interested in reading! The Vlad series has been fantastic. The students are coming into class ready to read. They have been buying the books at the book fair in the library. Last week one of our principals dressed up as Vlad and walked around the school to advertise our book fair! Thank you!
