Now, as most of you know, Auntie Heather is crazy busy (especially lately), so I haven’t been able to respond to the vast majority of emails I’ve been receiving (And I feel terribly guilty about that. I do. My Minions mean so much to me!). So…I was thinking I’d post some common questions/comments and respond here, in case you’re thinking about emailing Auntie Heather with anything like this:

Why, thank you, Minion! It’s my natural color too – can you tell? 
My hair actually varies in color, depending on how many times I’ve washed it since a fresh dye job. At first it’s purple, then hot pink, then light pink, then I dye it again. The black is dyed too. My natural hair color is strawberry blonde. (ew)

Sorry, Kirsten, but as you know, it takes new vampires a long time (actually over several humans’ lifetimes) to learn to speak it. It can only be learned by hearing it on a regular basis.

to tell the truth I don’t want the books to become a movie because then all the little twilight poeple are gonna b like oh I like vlad now and all us true minions are gonna b pushed aside by some little girly girls who will think they know more about vlad then all of us do

i agree with jennifer, i do not think the books should become a movie because vampire movies are hard to portray correctly, and i think it kinda ruins the immagination involved in reading a book to have a movie with actors, basicly telling you what everybody looks like, the surroundings and everything about the mithological art that is vampires. I think it would ruin the books, Twilight is great, and i enjoyed reading those, but CoVT is so much better, and the twilight movie ruined the book aswell, so i think it should be left as it is, in a book, in all our immagination

I agree that it shouldn’t become a movie. Hello Heather. I am Paige but alot of my friends call me MsVampGirl. I’m a huge Vlad fan. He is the vampire from my dreams. While all these other girls are chasing after the horrid (no offense to him) Edward Cullen, I’m thinking Vlad is much more better. You Heather are my hero, my ideal lol. auntie heather i absolutely love your books i lovvve the Meridith makes me jealous. Its not fair i wanna go to freedom fest with Vlad….. I think their should be a movie i think i should be Meridith. You see me and my friends got together one day for a group meeting and i was like so what r we gonna do today be goof balls of Make an original movie of the vladimir tod seires they all agreed to the movies so we read eighth grade bites til we were all done and the i got my 03,000 $ video camera and we like fillmed the whole thing i kinda made a script the movie was about an hour and a half. it took forever to edit…. I WAS MERIDITH!!! My friend Derek was Vlad, (i like him) my friend heather was Henery (she looks like a guy) and Nelly was my friend cassidy, otis was my language arts teacher, mr. snelgrove was my principal and henerys mom was my mom. It turn out really good but it took forever to edit and get makeup on and find clothes. the money all together was like $1000
all my money was gone 14 years of savings down the toilet.
I don’t really care about the movies, I’m just so-so. Well anyway, why must we wait for EGB so long! I’ve already pre-ordered it and I can’t wait! I’ll play as Vlad if it is made into a movie, I’ll prolly be just the right age then!

ohmygosh, your hair really is so awesome!!!! i dye mine all the time and it’s currently reddish brown, but only because the dye is washing out. it was BRIGHT red when i first got it done. lol i once died it blue and everybody was calling me “grandma” is okay though, cuz i l-o-v-e-d, loved it. XD
