Greetings, my Minions! And how are we all this cold, dark, bleak winter? Are you all revelling in the dark half of the year? Auntie is, for sure. Life has been keeping me very busy, but I just had to stop in and say hi to my Minions, plus share some happiness.
For one, I have a cat now! A sweet black kitty named (ha!) Amenti (of course). She’s feisty and can ooze sarcasm with but a glance. I love her! Plus, she keeps me company during the day while I write, which rocks my socks.
For two, I am all geared up for the Snow Ball, baby! It’s going to be MEGA AWESOME, which is like awesome, only to the Nth degree. Plus! I’m going to be touring all over the country right after that! So if you can’t hang with me at the Snow Ball, hopefully, you can hang with me at one of my events during the tour. Please call the stores and ask if they have anything special planned. I heard that there will be an anti-Vlaentines Day party and an in-store Snow Ball, so call and ask! I’ve updated my Appearances page with addresses and times, for all you Minions who keep asking when and where.
We are just WEEKS away from the release of ELEVENTH GRADE BURNS, Minions. Are you geeked out of your minds?! I totally am. I can’t wait to discuss deets of this book with you guys – it’s been sooooooo hard to keep my own secrets! But soon, all shall be revealed.
My days have been filled with writing (and petting Amenti) – what about you guys? Anything exciting going on? Catch me up!

My friend has been doing a lot of research on vampires lately and he found something about getting rid of stalking vampires. If a vampire is following you all you need to do is run backwards up a hill while holding a turtle and a lit candle. Maybe Vlad should try that to get D’Ablo off his back?
i like that, he really should! It would be funny, if that were me i would totally fall on my butt, though.I have no skills like that so yeah!

My knees are all jacked up, Auntie. That’s what;s new with me. (and the fact that I have a new horsie!) Cats tend to be able to shoot sarcasm with their eyes, especially females! My cat does it for sure! I can’t wait to see what you’ve made Vlad do in 11th grade… He probably escaped death a few times…
I cannot Beleive it! I actually got sick the day I auditioned for the school play.
I got a cold and i was all stuffed up when i said my lines, now im definetly nnot getting as good of a roll as i hoped. the cast list goes up on Wednesday, the 13th. I am so anxious i can barely keep still in my seat. I hope i get some sort of speaking role. GRRRRRRR

its a reaaally interesting name and quite unusual. I think it would fit in well with names like Vlad, Meredith, Joss, Otis, D’Ablo….etc.

Well, I think that this is completely awesome, and my friend and I absolutely LOVE Vlad. I think that the Snow ball is a great idea, but unfortunately I live nowhere close. And YAY you are coming to Oregon too!!
I used to have a cat, but my dad wrecked it with the theory that if one spray of flee meds was good, the whole bottle was better. I want to get a new one, but Mom’s afraid that she’ll get stuck with it when I go to college. I’M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Auntie nice to hear from you again! Im doing good thanks for asking. Well except for the whole school issue. I have my exhibition coming up in a few weeks, a book report (which Im doing on Tenth Grade Bleeds), two physics papers, and a college research essay. Im not liking school very much but Eleventh Grade Bleeds coming out is getting me through it! I can’t wait for it to come out! Im getting it the first day its out! You’re awesome, please never stop writing! Or we will all come after you,(your minions that is).

OMG i LOVE the vlad tod series!!! i saw it in a books a million, and it just, like, spoke 2 me!!!and it IS so much better 2 read an ACTUAL vampure book!!!(twilight, were all glaring bloody murder at u… hehe) o and im an aspiring author, and ur blog about publishing really helped!!! so thanks!!! btw, ur probably 1 of the few authors who actually take the time to interact with their readers by actually acknowledging them, and sometimes sending them bling, so i just want to thank u 4 ur generosity. so thanks, auntie heather!!!

ok well im at skool right now so i dont hav much time but i live in the state of IL and it is very icy up here (im about 2hours from chicago) anyway a new kid, Alex just moved in across the street and it’s very icey and he plus me and everyone else slipped and fell on ice this morning and my jeans r still wet!!!!

Dear, Auntie. Sup? I just now finished the third book of the Vladimir Tod Series. It is AWESOME! (twilight blows compared to this and everything else). I kinda feel sorry for Snow. I know that Vlad will end up with Meredith so could you please make Snow end up with me? XD
P.S: When I read the first book we had just gotten a cat and could NOT figure out a name. We ended up naming it Amenti!

also, to answer ur qustion… during this winter i have been hangin with all mah bestest buddies!!.(which includes Aice , Brit, Zeb, Zaid, Aidyn, Anna, Gianna, Izzy, Blaze, and Jeb!! haha i love u guys!!.) and also, i know, im a nerd, but im reading tht book to tht movie tht jus came out, Dear John by Nicholas Sparks, the guy who wrote The Notebook. hes jus such agood writer and i love, love stories
but not ones tht are TOO love crazzy lyk the Twilight series *bleh* but thts watt i love about The Chronicles of Vlad Tod,, is tht its classic. the unpopular boy is in love with the extremly popular girl and she secretly loves him too =) <3<3<3
lol i just got a cat too! Its name was cupcake when we got it but its a boy so we changed it to wilson. I think your the best writer ever and i loooooooooooooooooooooove vlads character.And its the other way around with me.I like the popular guy named Nick but i dont think he knows i exist.Oh and did i menchen i already have a boyfriend?
