I’ve never had an office. When I first started writing from home, my computer was on a small desk in the living room. I got a bigger desk, we moved, but even there, I was in the dining room. Another move…and here I am, back in the dining room again. It sucks writing from here – it’s at the center of the house, with all its noise and business. And I get distracted easily. So for a few months now, I’ve been looking for an office to rent.
Only the offices I’ve found have been too expensive, sub-par, too big, too small, too far, or just plain icky. Plus, I’ve got a lot of travel planned, which would seriously cut down on the time I’d actually be in the office. Plus a million other reasons, which have lead me to…
The basement. I’m moving to the creepy, unfinished basement, complete with stud walls and cobwebs. Ew.
Still…creepy has its charm. I just wish I had an office.
Whine over. Auntie has work.
By week’s end, I’ll be blogging from the Creepy Basement.
Unless a spider eats me or something.

Do you guys think that she would do well in this year ?
My programmer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on a number of websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it? Any help would be really appreciated!
Hey – nice blog, just looking around some blogs, seems a quite nice platform you are using. I’m presently making use of WordPress for a couple of of my sites but looking to change 1 of them through to a platform comparable to yours as a trial run. Something in specific you’d suggest about it?
This is way better than a brick & mortar estblaishment.
I would wish to thank you for that efforts you’ve got produced in writing this article. I’m hoping the same greatest do the job from you within the future too. Actually your creative writing abilities has inspired me to start my own BlogEngine blog now.
