Being an author is the coolest job on the planet, no lie. But the really cool part is the perks of being friends with other authors. One of the perks? Getting to read stories before they’re published. Especially stories like HUNGER by my good friend, Jackie Morse Kessler.
Jackie is an incredible person and an extremely gifted writer. We’re also critique partners (she definitely got the short end of that stick), so when Jackie came to me with this idea, I was SQUEALING WITH JOY over the concept of this book.
HUNGER is about an anorexic girl who becomes the new Famine, of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.
Then she wrote it and I got a chance to read it. It’s beautifully written, full of action, and will appeal to both guys and girls. Trust me on this.

Definitely going to read it! I would recommend the Blue bloods series, Vampire Academy, Bar Code Rebellion, Dead is the new Black, Elphame’s Choice, Glass Houses, and the House Of Night series. Knock yourself out, Juan.

It seems Like it might be interesting. I am on you Tenth Grade Bleeds book. Vladimir is actually getting skillful. Faster. Great Job Heather. I have to say at first I didn’t like Eighth Grade Bites becuase I didn’t really understand it. In my opinion (knowing it probably dont mean much) You should have started at the time Vlad was eight and the time around when he bit Henry. It would have made much better since to me. For I will admit I am easily confused.
