I had the most amazing time last night at The Book Smith. I mean seriously, Minions, every stop on my tour gets better and bette. You guys are incredible! We had about 150 Minions from all over the state (and from GA and NC!) come out to celebrate Vlad (and meet yours truly), including a Minion I know well – Lee! Lee came out to party with me at the Snow Ball in Februay too. He rocks.
The Book Smith staff knows how to party. had a buffet waiting for me, and this amazing set up wth a gothic desk, where I autographed. I am in awe!
I don’t understand why more authors don’t come here. It was such a fun, talkative, happy, supportive crowd, and everyone had multiple books and stuff for me to sign – well worth my time. I met so many of you, but I just have to give a shout-out to these four, who became besties while in line.

It was great to meet you last night. And it wasn’t only South Carolinians in the audience! There was one father/daughter combo that we met in line who drove 2 and a half hours from Charlotte NC just to meet you! There were also a couple of folks from GA who drove up for this event that we chatted with. Thanks so much for coming our way and for inspiring our children to put down the remote control and pick up a book!

i love your books, you are the most amazing person in the whole world. I really wish i could see you when you come to New York City but i live in buffalo so my mom and dad will not let me go. I wish i was like vlad when he sneaks out and telling Nelly in his mind to stay asleep, so i could do that with my parents

Just finished the 5th book. Very epic!! Can’t wait for Halloween. My friend and I were geeking out about the Halloween stuff at Wal-Mart. We’re going to a Save the Owl thing today. Gonna be epic, but not as epic as that big Halloween pary!!
