Greetings, Minion Horde! I have a zillion happy little details to share with you about our quest for world domination, but before I get to that, let me catch you up on the awesomeness that is my tour.
A few days ago I was fortunate enough to stop by Mrs. Nelson’s in La Verne, California, where I was greeted by an amazing staff, a fangtastic crowd, and….I came THIS CLOSE to a big goal of mine: signing a baby!!! I signed a toddler!

We had an excellent crowd…
And I attribute the success of this tour to a SillyBand given to me early on by a Minion named Sinead. It’s my lucky dinosaur!
After Mrs. Nelson’s, I whisked off to Watermark Books in Wichita, Kansas! It was incredible. A HUGE crowd (probably over 200 Minions) and lots and lots of love, plus a great staff (Mark, if you’re reading this….Gargy has finally forgiven you for calling him a hippo). Check out these pics!
For some reason, when I speak at events, I become an evil dictator.
After having a blast at Watermark, I headed to Harleysville Books in Harleysville, Pennsylvania, where we had a pizza party! No pics yet, because like a doof, I forgot my camera, but it was a ton of fun – and we had a nice group, despite the terrible storms all through PA. People came from as far away as three and a half hours! Now that’s loyalty. And it was a blessing to meet each and every one. My favorite part of the night was when I settled into a cozy chair and Minions sat on the floor all around me. We discussed what is and what isn’t working for anti-bullying efforts in their schools. It was very enlightening…and troubling.
Tonight I’m headed to Barnes and Noble in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Sadly, I’ve had to cease hugging all of you, as I have the plague and don’t want to be the cause of The Stand. But I love you all, Minions! Come see me – we only have a few more stops on this tour!
And now onto our world domination news! We just hit the New York Times again, Minions! This time at #4. We’ve also hit several indie bestseller lists, Wall Street Journal (#10), and USA Today (#34). In other words, Auntie is feeling very, very popular and blessed and loved. Thank you. Thank you all so much!!

Tonight, I went out to dinner with two fellow minions and got a hamburger. While eating it, some of the ketchup smeared on my wrist. I immediately held up my wrist and proclaimed, “I am now a drudge to my hamburger!” Thank you, Vlad, for an awesome dinner.

AUNTIE HEATHER TOTALLY ROCKS!!!!!!
We met her at the Texas Book Festival yesterday. My daughter got all her books signed, I got my bag signed plus a bag signed for a minion in Cali. We also got books signed by other authors. Beautiful Creatures by Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia. Auntie Heather is so kind and amazing! We took pictures too!!

dear auntie heather, ……. please find a way to make the chronicles of vladimir tod a movie.the percy jackson books where made into a movie and i like the vladimir todd books better. i have read the harry potter books the percy jackson books the artemis fowl books the hive books the hunger game books the rangers apprentice books the vlad todd books and many more and by far the vlad todd books are my personal fav. you did great!
i am so sad that the vlad story is over tho. 
just like any great series the characters almost become your friends. i dont no if thats wierd to say but its true. you get to no them and it bums me out to no that vlads story has come to an end. 
i really hope they make a movie because it will be a way to keep the characters alive in your minions eyes. thanx and congrats on the books seeya.

I just finished the book(at 12:59 am :p) and am soooo angry at the person who posted a false spoiler!!! I was to yell(all caps) what it was, but to give suspens to all the others that read that one, MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Also, I SO CALLED ONE OF THE COUPLES!!!(you guys know which one, the best one!) I’ve now got a kind of like adrenalin high…. Sorry.
By the way, the book is now my new favorite. Chapter 27 is my favorite though especially the last line.
Also!! I love the ending, not really a cliff hanger, but more of a test type thing, like saying “did you remember?” though a lot of people would call it a cliff hanger.

Auntie if you are making a movie I think all of your loyalists minions should be in it! Minions who know how the book ends and who actually dedicate all there time into to commenting to their favorite author
there totally should be a vlad movie but if they do make a vlad movie, they need to have Auntie write and direct the movie so they don’t screw the movie like with the percy jackson movie. it made me so mad how much they killed it and changed it. nothing was right in that movie!

I went as snow for a costume party yet noone except the goth kids know who she was!they are the only ones obsessed with vladimir like me though. I have only read up to eleventh grade kills (curse it being sold out!) and let me say i was upset that trisian and dorian died! I just got finished reading 12th Grade kills.It is by far the best book I have read this year. I loved how snow turned into a vampire and wasn’t dead. I love how Vlad finally stood up to bill and tom(they’ve had it coming since 8th grade). I love how Henry and October ended up together, which i saw coming.I love how Vlad picked snow over Meridith. My favorite line in the entire book was “After all, vampires didn’t sparkle”. I especially loved the action, especially the end fight. PLEASE PLEASE tell me that there will be another Vlad series.
